An Introduction: Holding Court

In 2007, I started a Breaking Down the Big, Beige Box as a way to show my family my apartment after another cross country move from Arizona to Florida. I’ve always been into decor and (in)famously had more apartments since age 18 than Elizabeth Taylor has had husbands (I’m on #13 as we speak). After a brief hiatus from the BBB blog, I’ve regrouped and expanded my scope in an effort to share all of the things that catch my eye here in NYC and in my travels.
Holding Court is described as the following:

“Going out with the intent to entertain and be entertained by a group of admiring friends. Taken from the days of medieval royalty when the king would call his subjects for a big feast.”

Here’s my perspective as I “hold court” on all that’s visually pleasing, fun, and adventurous.
